Bob Lux | Principal

Bob has been in the real estate development and investment business for over 30 years. He has been involved in numerous housing, office, and industrial projects throughout the Minneapolis Metro area. As co-founder and Principal of APEX Asset Management from 1993 to 2007, he was active in the business of property acquisition, disposition asset management, and the organization and management of investment programs. In the 1980ʹs, he was Local Managing Partner of Trammell Crow Residential Minnesoata where he was responsible for all of the development, construction, and management of Trammell Crow’s Minnesota residential portfolio.


Amy Hanson | Chief Financial Officer

Amy is seasoned veteran in the real estate industry. A licensed broker in MN and WI and has been with MyHomeSource since 2009. With 11+ years experience in real estate, construction, operations and property management, she has built the processes and systems that have helped MyHomeSource to continue to thrive. She has been involved in over 775 single family and commercial projects projects. Prior to MyHomeSource, Amy worked as a real estate consultant for developers assisting them in building out their businesses models through financial modeling and process development. She has also consulted on commercial leasing, asset management and renovations of buildings and developments utilizing Historic Tax Credits and TIF financing. Amy is a firm believer in partnering with non-profits and local housing agencies to rebuild communities.


Alex Polinsky III | Director of Construction Services

After 17 years with Edward R. James Homes, Polinsky joined Engelsma Construction Inc. as a Manager of Business Development and Project Manager, bringing years of management and development experience in both the Chicago area and Minnesota. In 2002, Alex helped to establish and grow E.R. James Homes Minnesota, LLC, where, as Managing Director, he was responsible for project management coordination and execution of five residential construction developments comprised of over 950 units and $380 million dollars of construction activity for various clients, including Opus Northwest, a nationally-known development firm. Polinsky grew the Minnesota division by recruiting and managing a team of twelve real estate professionals in the areas of residential construction, interior design, and project management.


Nick Reimler | Construction Manager

Nick has managed over 200 projects in some capacity over the last 2+ years. His main job responsibilities include budgeting, bidding, and tracking each rehab from start to finish. He works closely with General Contractors and Sub-Contractors throughout the process. Nick is also licensed Realtor and has over 10 years of experience in property management, real estate, new construction, and commercial construction.


Scott Wellnitz | Construction Superintendent

Scott MyHomeSource in 2015. Scott has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years. Prior to coming to MyHomeSource, he worked for a National Home Builder in the Twin Cities area overseeing both high-end single family and multi-family homes. From 2000 – 2009 Scott owned his own general contracting and remodeling business. Over the years, he has also worked on numerous construction stage and set changes at the Chanhassen Dinner theatres. Scott is well versed in all areas of construction development and strives to maintain excellent communication between both the customer and the many vendors and tradesman that take the project through to completion. He is dedicated to each task at hand and has a passion for the whole building process.


Tom Mason | Field Superintendent

Tom has been in the construction and real estate development industry for over 20 years. At the age of 18, Tom acquired his real estate license. Shortly thereafter, he attended Gustavus Adolphus College and then acquired a Real Estate Brokers License and Contractors License. He did so to properly pursue his chosen career of custom home building and land development. Tom’s experience has afforded him the opportunity to purchase, renovate and sell numerous homes throughout the Twin Cities, California and Georgia. Tom has also been involved with the redevelopment and renovation of several commercial properties in the the Twin Cities area.

Tom has been a member of the Minneapolis Rotary Club and Minneapolis Builders Association and is an active member of several wetland conservation organizations. He and his wife also support, educate and house foster teens when their parents are in need.


Jessa Lux | Operations Manager

Jessa joined MyHomeSource in August 2015 as the Operations Manager. She is responsible for managing and executing all customer service,  sales, and marketing initiatives for the organization. She works cross-functionally to ensure home-buyers’ needs are being met and expectations are exceeded.


Kristen Witt | Construction Accountant

Kristen Witt joined the MyHomeSource team in March 2016. Bio coming soon.


Emily Van Helden | Project Coordinator

Emily joined MyHomeSource in March 2013. She works closely with the MHS team, vendors, and contractors to ensure the office is run smoothly. Along with overseeing the day to day operations of the office, Emily also assists with accounting. She has a Bachelor’s degree in United States History from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
Her areas of focus include Vendor Management, Schedule Supervision, Accounts Payable, Event Planning, Budgeting and Administrative Duties
